Biographic Notes

Die Döhle-Körperchen (Einschlüsse in Leukozyten), die er 1911 bei 30 Scharlach-Patienten entdeckte, sind nach ihm benannt. Auch das Döhle-Heller-Syndrom (ein Spätsymptom bei Syphilis) trägt seinen Namen.
